Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy
reports of copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property concerns
Introduction and scope
Pinsot is a product operated by Dakoli LLC, a California limited liability company. This document explains the rules, rights, procedures, and responsibilities that apply to reports of copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property concerns
Pinsot provides subscription software and technology for nail salon operations in a global market. Salons are independent businesses that provide nail, beauty, wellness, and related services to their clients. Unless a document expressly says otherwise for a specific transaction, the salon—not Pinsot—is responsible for its services, prices, technicians, schedules, employment relationships, commissions, taxes, refunds, client care, licensing, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
The English version is the controlling version unless applicable law requires otherwise. The Vietnamese translation is provided for meaningful access and convenience and is intended to preserve the same substance.
Reporting claimed infringement
Send a signed notice to legal@pinsot.com identifying the copyrighted work or representative list; the exact Pinsot material and location; your name and contact information; a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized; a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized agent; and your physical or electronic signature.
Provide enough detail for Pinsot to locate the material without exposing unrelated personal information. A URL, salon and record context, screenshot with third-party data redacted, and explanation may help. Pinsot has not verified a registered DMCA agent; any public agent designation requires owner and legal verification before it is claimed.
Review and removal process
Pinsot may request clarification, preserve relevant records, restrict or remove material, notify the submitting user, or take no action where a notice is incomplete or unsupported. Removal is not a determination that infringement occurred. We consider applicable safe-harbor procedures, fair use and other exceptions, license evidence, jurisdiction, and risk to users.
Users must not repeatedly upload material found to infringe. Pinsot may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances while considering valid counter-notices, mistakes, account context, and proportionality. We may also act against content that violates the Terms even if copyright procedure does not apply.
Counter-notice
A person who believes material was removed by mistake may send legal@pinsot.com a signed counter-notice identifying the removed material and former location; consenting to the jurisdiction required by applicable law; agreeing to accept service from the claimant; and stating under penalty of perjury a good-faith belief that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification.
If the counter-notice is valid, Pinsot may forward it to the claimant and restore material after the legally required period unless the claimant reports a filed court action. Users should obtain legal advice before making sworn statements. False notices or counter-notices may create liability.
Trademark and other rights
A trademark report should identify the mark, registration or common-law basis, territory, owner, allegedly confusing use, exact location, and why the use is unauthorized. Pinsot may consider nominative use, commentary, parody, geographic scope, and marketplace context. This process also accepts concerns about counterfeit content or other intellectual-property rights with equivalent supporting detail.
Do not use this policy to silence criticism, resolve ordinary business disputes, reveal private information, or make a claim you know is false. Pinsot may share a notice with the affected user and preserve it for legal defense, transparency, and abuse prevention, subject to privacy and law.
Changes, language, and contact
This document is version 2026.07.20, effective and last updated July 20, 2026. We may update it to reflect product, legal, safety, or operational changes. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate public or in-product notice when reasonably required. Continued use after an effective change is governed by applicable law and any notice or consent that law requires.
Questions and requests concerning this document may be sent to legal@pinsot.com. Contact addresses are centralized and require owner verification before production. Do not email passwords, verification codes, full payment credentials, government identification, health details, or unrelated client records.
