Law Enforcement and Government Request Guidelines
government and law-enforcement requests for information concerning Pinsot
Introduction and scope
Pinsot is a product operated by Dakoli LLC, a California limited liability company. This document explains the rules, rights, procedures, and responsibilities that apply to government and law-enforcement requests for information concerning pinsot
Pinsot provides subscription software and technology for nail salon operations in a global market. Salons are independent businesses that provide nail, beauty, wellness, and related services to their clients. Unless a document expressly says otherwise for a specific transaction, the salon—not Pinsot—is responsible for its services, prices, technicians, schedules, employment relationships, commissions, taxes, refunds, client care, licensing, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
The English version is the controlling version unless applicable law requires otherwise. The Vietnamese translation is provided for meaningful access and convenience and is intended to preserve the same substance.
Valid legal process
Dakoli LLC reviews government requests for legal validity, issuing authority, jurisdiction, authenticity, scope, specificity, and consistency with applicable law. A request should identify the authority, responsible official, legal basis, case or reference number, account or data sought, relevant date range, return deadline, nondisclosure basis if any, and official contact method.
We may reject, narrow, seek clarification, or challenge a request that is informal, overbroad, technically infeasible, directed to the wrong entity, inconsistent with customer-controller roles, or legally defective. Acceptance of correspondence does not waive objections or confirm that responsive data exists.
Scope and production
Where disclosure is legally required, Dakoli LLC seeks to produce only information responsive to the valid request and available in systems under its control. Salon-controlled records may be more appropriately requested from the salon. We do not create records that do not exist or promise recovery from an unverified backup or retention period.
We use secure, authenticated delivery appropriate to the sensitivity and keep a record of the request and response as law permits. Costs may be sought where law authorizes reimbursement. Government access is not a routine or unrestricted product feature.
User and customer notice
Dakoli LLC's default is to notify the affected customer or user before disclosure when legally permitted, so the person may seek advice or challenge the request. Notice may be delayed or omitted where prohibited by valid law or order, where an emergency creates material risk, or where notice would compromise security or an investigation.
We may ask an authority to narrow the duration of nondisclosure and permit later notice. When a restriction expires and notice is lawful and practical, we may provide delayed notice. Notice does not reveal protected investigation details beyond what law permits.
Emergency requests
An emergency requester should explain the imminent danger of death or serious physical injury, identify the person at risk, specify the information sought, explain how it may prevent harm, provide official credentials and supervisory contact, and certify the request in writing. Dakoli LLC evaluates emergency requests case by case and may contact the agency through an independently verified channel.
Emergency disclosure is voluntary unless law requires it and will be limited to information reasonably necessary for the identified risk. This process is not a substitute for contacting local emergency services. Requests involving ordinary investigations, property loss, business disputes, or speculative harm should use normal legal process.
Preservation and international requests
A valid preservation request should identify the specific account or record, date range, legal authority, duration, and follow-up process. Preservation temporarily retains available records within scope; it does not disclose them and does not guarantee information exists. Extension or disclosure requires valid process before the preservation expires.
Authorities outside the United States should use applicable treaties, mutual legal-assistance channels, letters rogatory, or other lawful cross-border process unless local law validly applies directly. We consider conflicts of law, data-protection restrictions, customer location, and the California entity jurisdiction.
Submitting a request
Send official requests to legal@pinsot.com. The initial message should contain official contact and process information, not passwords or unrelated personal data. Dakoli LLC may require service through a legally recognized method and verify the sender independently.
These guidelines do not create rights for third parties, promise disclosure, or provide legal advice to an authority or user. Dakoli LLC may update handling as law and verified operations change while preserving mandatory rights and objections.
