SMS and Messaging Terms
transactional and promotional communications sent through Pinsot-enabled workflows
Introduction and scope
Pinsot is a product operated by Dakoli LLC, a California limited liability company. This document explains the rules, rights, procedures, and responsibilities that apply to transactional and promotional communications sent through pinsot-enabled workflows
Pinsot provides subscription software and technology for nail salon operations in a global market. Salons are independent businesses that provide nail, beauty, wellness, and related services to their clients. Unless a document expressly says otherwise for a specific transaction, the salon—not Pinsot—is responsible for its services, prices, technicians, schedules, employment relationships, commissions, taxes, refunds, client care, licensing, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
The English version is the controlling version unless applicable law requires otherwise. The Vietnamese translation is provided for meaningful access and convenience and is intended to preserve the same substance.
Message types and availability
Enabled messaging may include verification codes, account-security notices, appointment confirmations and reminders, waitlist updates, schedule changes, service follow-up, support replies, salon-to-client messages, and optional promotions. Channel availability varies by market, workspace, carrier, device, provider readiness, and feature status. Pinsot does not name a specific SMS provider until verified.
Transactional messages support an existing account, booking, or requested service. Promotional messages encourage purchasing or marketing engagement. The same conversation may not be used to blur these purposes. Optional marketing consent must not be preselected and declining it must not block unrelated essential service where law requires separation.
Salon consent responsibilities
A salon must have a valid legal basis and any required express consent before adding a recipient or sending a message. It must keep source, timestamp, scope, channel, policy version, and opt-out records where the existing data model supports them, and maintain an external record where it does not. Purchased lists, scraped contacts, transferred consent without legal support, and misleading sender identity are prohibited.
Salons control message purpose, recipients, content, frequency, quiet hours, and compliance with local telemarketing, privacy, employment, and consumer rules. Pinsot provides technology and does not guarantee that salon content or consent complies in every jurisdiction. Salons should obtain professional advice for campaigns or markets with specialized requirements.
Opt-out and help
Where supported, replying STOP requests an opt-out from the applicable message program and HELP requests assistance. Other recognized keywords or methods may apply by country or provider. A sender must process a valid opt-out promptly, send only a permitted confirmation, and avoid resuming promotional messages without new valid consent. Account or security notices may continue where lawful and necessary.
Recipients can also contact the salon that sent the message or support@pinsot.com. Include the sending salon, approximate time, destination with most digits redacted, and the request. Do not forward verification codes or private message history unrelated to the issue.
Frequency, charges, and delivery
Message frequency depends on account events, bookings, waitlist activity, salon settings, and a recipient's choices. Message and data rates may apply under the recipient's carrier plan. Carriers and platform providers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages to the extent permitted by law.
Delivery is not guaranteed. Network conditions, carrier filtering, invalid contact information, device settings, local restrictions, quiet hours, provider outages, and recipient actions can delay or prevent delivery. A salon must not rely on messaging as the sole channel for emergencies, urgent medical concerns, safety events, or legally required notice unless law and the verified workflow permit it.
Prohibited messaging
Do not send unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, infringing, malware-bearing, or credential-seeking content. Do not impersonate a client, technician, salon, carrier, government, or Pinsot. Do not use artificial urgency to obtain passwords, payment credentials, identification, or sensitive health details.
International availability and rules differ. A salon must confirm supported destinations, sender registration, consent wording, quiet hours, frequency, age rules, required disclosures, opt-out methods, and recordkeeping before messaging a country or region. Pinsot may block destinations or content to comply with law, provider policy, safety, or abuse prevention.
